Exciting announcement for the gaming community! Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has now ushered in full compatibility with specialized Mega Modz mods for gaming controllers. The MW III compatible mods include both hardware and software enhancements tailored to elevate your gaming experience to the level you want.
You are in full control when it comes to customizing your controller. Whether you're dipping your toes into the world of mods and feeling like trying out a couple of things or ready to fully upgrade your Mega Modz PS5 DualSense or Xbox Series X controller with a full stack of mods - both options work well.
Let us guide you through all the available options for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III to help you pinpoint the exact features that will sharpen your gameplay.
Back buttons and mechanical triggers are must-haves, and their popularity isn't just hype—they're game-changers. Today, no pro-level controller hits the market without these essentials. Here's how they transform your gameplay:
For Xbox Series X controllers, the 4 back button setup is available, allowing for on-the-fly remapping of all standard commands. To enhance your playstyle with every tap, add the option via the Controller Creator.
PS5 DualSense controller back buttons offer a more flexible and advanced technology. It allows you to choose from either two or four button configurations, plus select a desired level of performance for a unique edge:
Standard Remap for classic customization - comes in the form of 4 back buttons
Advanced back buttons with remap and turbo macros - available for a 2-back button config
Macro Remap, which includes all the macros from above plus more advanced ones - Continuous Press and Auto Double and Triple Taps.
Mechanical aka Smart triggers are great if you want minimal travel distance and the most precise button control. These are ready to be installed on Xbox XS and PS5 DualSense controllers.
Xbox Series X fans can enjoy trigger locks, while PS5 users can take advantage of mechanical triggers and shoulder buttons, along with smart face buttons for unparalleled response and control.
The mod packs for COD MW3 have 12 features designed to refine your play and guarantee an improved kill-to-death ratio. Included in the Reinforced package, these mods can be used at once (4 max) or by turn, with back buttons and smart triggers active or not. The flexibility is superb.
You select the Reinforced pack or just a few individual features at checkout, and they'll be pre-loaded onto your controller. Upon arrival, activate them in any sequence, with the ability to use four simultaneously—one shooting mod and three non-shooting. You can turn them off at any time to use your controller in a "normal" way.
The ever-green shooting mod is Rapid Fire, which auto-presses the fire button, transforming semi-auto and single-shot firearms into full-auto machines. Even fully automatic weapons benefit from Rapid Fire, which can aid with recoil management. It’s customizable with preset speeds and can be toggled in real time during gameplay.
Rapid Fire alone can significantly boost your performance, and when combined with 11 other mods, your gaming prowess will soar.
Non-shooting mods offer enhanced or entirely new abilities, such as simultaneous jumping or laying down while firing, steadier sniping, faster reloading, and optimized sprinting, to name a few.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III," set for release on November 10, 2023, promises a fresh take on tactical gameplay. Available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game comes in two editions: the standard at $70 and the feature-rich Vault Edition for $99.99. While "Modern Warfare III" itself won't house a Battle Royale mode, it seamlessly connects with "Call of Duty: Warzone 2," especially with the upcoming Warzone map, Urzikstan.
Crafted by the effort of Sledgehammer Games and Beenox, the game comes with tons of customizations, 4K graphics, and Ultrawide support. Early bird pre-orderers can dive into the beta and enjoy early campaign access.
The narrative picks up the threads from its predecessor, with player choices steering the campaign. Multiplayer modes will feel both familiar and novel, with remastered maps from the 2009 "Modern Warfare 2" and over a dozen new maps coming post-launch. Gameplay is enriched with a classic minimap and perks tied to gear, providing tangible in-game benefits without altering appearances.
Over 30 weapons await in "Modern Warfare III," each customizable in the Gunsmith for a tailored arsenal. The game's first Zombie mode introduces a vast, squad-based PvE experience within the Dark Aether storyline, playable on the expansive Warzone map. In an unprecedented move, players can transfer their "Modern Warfare II" gear to "Modern Warfare III," ensuring continuity of experience across the franchise.
Beta impressions were fairly good. The beta showcased solid features like Tactical Stance, new equipment options, refined gunplay, and beloved remastered maps with added details. While there were some criticisms about the complexity of the new perk system and visuals that were too similar to the previous installment, the overall beta experience was deemed smooth with some interesting changes introduced.
It looks like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a perfect blend of the nostalgia of classic elements with the excitement of new features.
