Really Love my New Controller, but........

I really love the design, LED lights and the ease of the "Mod Button" to switch the different mods. I wish I still had the email of the person who helped me at Mega Mods he was awesome and the responses to my questions were practically immediate. But...... when I play the new Modern Warfare Warzone and use Rapid Fire, That "Shoot and lay down at the same time" mod and I think the Auto Spot when I use the left trigger to aim my gun, the left trigger, instead of aiming, it throws a grenade and when I try to open a box with the "X" button in Warzone Plunders, it throws a tactical grenade instead (smoke, flash bang, etc.). Am I the idiot who doesn't know how to work the controller or is there something wrong with the controller. Again, I love the design and will be buying my controllers in the future with Mega Mods because of the helpful staff and the immediate answers to my question but I would just love to get this issue solved so I can get the full use out of my controller. Just a side note, has anyone used Mods for the game "Starfield" and if so, which ones?

Just got my remote last week. Absolutely love it. The look, the feel, the functionality are all amazing. I am having one issue with it however, the down button on the d-pad is making a squeaky noise when I use it. The button works fine but the squeaky noise has my dog running around looking for his toy. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this noise?

WOOHOOO!!, omgaaaa, i'm so in love love love. i wouldnt have even bought the ps5 console, if you guys didnt exist. NO Way i would have been able to play with my arm. the week between getting the ps5 and the modded controller, was a week of hell, really got bad again, my arm, with the carpal tunnel, sciatica deal', so man was i stoked to see this bad boy in the mail. you guys doing the macro speeds for me on the back paddles, just made me almost cry with freakin happiness, I am sooo freakin happy. I am now playing genshin impact, with no pain, and trust me, with the amount of dialogue in this game, lol. you have no idea. lol. one story line took a day, literally a day.

you guys, seriously THANK YOU again. , you really will never understand how much this means to me, you've allowed me to play games again on a console. i had given up, til i found you. You've made a 60 year old broad's year... BIG HUGS!

I was antsy waiting for it to come - I think I changed basically every piece from the base controller, so it took awhile, however Stephen was awesome about responding to my emails.

The quality is top notch - there are no loose parts and the controller does not flex as if it has been taken apart and put back together.

The site admins can preach to you all day about reading the mod instructions - however if you just follow the quick guide you are missing out on sooo much. For example- I thought auto sprint was the same thing as turning it on in COD, but it is much better and will drastically beef up your smg game.

It definitely takes getting used too - I think at first the only mod I used was jump shot.

Anyway I would highly recommend - you won’t be disappointed. The only thing I didn’t get that I wish I had are the interchangeable sticks.

Mechanical triggers

IDK what products these companies are using for mechanical triggers but they suck and it isn't just MegaModz. I have ordered controllers from other companies and had nothing but problems with mechanical triggers. The triggers keep malfunctioning especially R2 on Playstation 5 controllers. I wouldn't recommend the mechanical triggers upgrade.

Ok, here we go!

So i got the basic vanguard package. I regret that. I wish i added a couple more things. That is on me!

Things i like

1. Rapid fire is very cool. Taking single shot weapons and burst shot weapons to automatic is very handy.

2. I like that even when turning off the controller it saves mods, so you don't have to do it everytime.

3, mod button placement. Its just high enough that you kinda feel it but its not in the way.

4, it works with not only vanguard, but cold war and warzone. It also works a little bit with Red Dead 2 as well! I was not expecting that.

Things i don't like.

1, faster reload. Its kinda broken. When doing it manually it doesn't work. Goes part way but doesn't reload.

2, the auto prone/jump only does prone. However i might be doing it wrong! If so that is on me.

3, auto burst. For me! Not useful. It auto shoots giving me away when i ads. However im also just not the greatest player.

Things i wish i got for the extra money. (this is on me.)

If you are thinking about getting a controller

Get auto heal, auto spot, and repair armor.

All in all i would rate my controller. 8.5 out of 10.

Although some things i would not use. Rapid fire is worth it's weight in gold!

Unable to drive vehicles?

I am unable to drive vehicles in warzone or on any other games? Is this normal??

This is my second controller from Meg Modz. The first one was purchased for my PS4 with all of the mods installed back in 2014, was/is my daily controller and the unit still works great. I made the move over from Evil Controllers who for some reason could not deliver a working controller to me. I'll give them credit for trying several times, but they could never come through and I took a chance on Mega Modz and have been happy ever since.

So I purchased the PS5 controller with only 1 mod.....Rapid Fire. I'm a very simple man now as compared to 8 years ago. 8>).

Things I love about the new iteration of this modded controller:

LED Lights are now recessed and flush. It wasn't like that in the past which limited the charging cradles that you could use with the PS4 controllers
You can now shut off the mod by double-tapping the Triangle button. You never used to be able to do this on the PS4 controller which limited your ability to drive vehicles or repair vehicles in BF4 with the mod on.
It came with a user manual. I know this sounds trivial, but at least I'm not downloading pages of mod instructions.

Things I hate about the new iteration of this modded controller:

I couldn't be happier and will be waiting to put in my next order with Mega Modz when the PS6 comes out.

Rapid Fire activation

This is my 2nd mega Modz controller and I’m loving it so far, especially the flush mounted LED indicators vs the previously raised LEDs.
My first controller was damaged from one of kids stepping on it and crushing it. So I switched to a different company’s modded controller. One thing that theirs did differently in a good way is to activate rapid fire, you just pressed the mod button. No need to push mod and R2/R1 (PS4) respectively. With mega Modz method of activating rapid fire In a warzone setting for example, this is bothersome to me if I want to activate rapid fire during the game, I have to let off a shot that might be unsuppressed giving away my position to my opponents. Sure, I could switch to a suppressed weapon IF I have one, that takes away time though, or I could drop the unsuppressed weapon activate the mod and then pick the weapon back up taking up even more time.
anyone have a better way of activating rapid fire that is less of a burden?

I just received my PS4 controller and it’s great. I bought one for my dad too. His thumb sticks always wear out on his controllers. He worked in sheet metal for years and has hands of granite.

This has been a big help to us both.

Can we send in working PS4 controllers to you, that need their thumb sticks replaced, to have you fix them up?

We have 3 working PS4 controllers but all of them need the thumb sticks replaced.

L3 R3 Sensitivity

Have noticed after about 25 to 30 hours of use that the sticks become very sensitive and L3 and R3 are inadvertently pressed too frequently. Disappointing for a product at the cost you pay to breakdown so quickly.

This is my first custom controller i got just a simple one (paddles and trigger stops) I've used paddles before and I've never found the perfect one for me but I can definitely say the way these paddles are set up are a game changer. Easy remapping and pretty damn good placement. The only weird part for me was the trigger stop location, when they're being used atleast. I can feel them when I'm using the paddles but honestly it's not a deal breaker And when they're not on you barely feel them. I definitely recommend buying one from this site. I got a good discount and got my controller within a couple of days 🙂 (I play R6 and CoD and rocket league. R6 makes it easy when crouching to not mess up your shot without losing different features. Cod on the other hand I used to play bumper jumper tactical so the r3 crouch is embedded in my muscle memory so its gonna be hard to break but I did hit some crazy shots by accident because r3 is mount when aiming)

Just got my modded PS4 controller for COD/Warzone. Took roughly a month to get here, but that was clearly stated when checking out, so it wasn't a problem at all and worth the wait. The quality is really top notch. Everything works great and I haven't had a single issue with it so far. Definitely a learning curve to figure out which mods work best with your playing style and learning button combos to turn mods on/off on the fly. It's a well thought out modded controller though. The rapid fire mod in tactical mode is great. Just double tap Triangle to turn it on and off. The rapid fire mod with the FAL on COD is reason enough to buy it! The armor assist works great in Warzone too. Very happy with this purchase !!
